Experience

Brewer & Runner
Prepare and keep drinks and refreshments fully stocked for guests and clean up after services.
Server
Engage with and serve each guest refreshments.
Worship Center Doors
Stand outside the worship center doors and welcome guests.
Lobby Guides
Move around the lobby and be willing to engage with and serve guests. Answer questions and help direct new guests to areas of the building they are unfamiliar with.
Section Host Team
Create a friendly, welcoming environment by helping guests find a seat and engaging in conversation with those in your section. Assist with other activities inside the room such as giving and communion
Parking Lot Team
Make sure everyone feels welcomed and provide parking lot safety and security through observation and welcoming behaviors.
Next Steps Team
Make sure everyone feels welcomed, cared for and known by providing needed information, praying for them and helping them move forward in their spiritual journey.

Groups

Home Group Host
Open your home twice a month for a small group meeting of about 10 people; coordinate with the group leader on time and details.
Needs: 10
Time: 2-3 hours every other week
 
Home Group Leader
Lead/facilitate a group of 10 every other week using materials and resources provided by CB and in coordination with the group host.  Lead out in regular communication and care for the members of your group.
Needs: 10  
Time: 2-3 hours every other week

Men’s Discipleship Group Leader
Meet weekly and facilitate discussion with a group of 3-4 men to read the book Multiply and then go through a year-long Bible reading plan.  Lead out in regular communication and care for the members of your group.
Needs: 5
Time: 1-2 hours plus prep/study time (varies) every week for 15-18 months

Women’s/Men’s Bible Study Leader
Lead/facilitate a group of 15-20 men/women every week on a topic of your choice, either book or video driven. Lead out in regular communication and care for the members of your group.
Needs: 2 each
Time: 2 hours a week for 6-8 weeks plus prep time.
 
Teacher for Topical Classes
(Book of the Bible, OT, NT, How to share your faith, Bible 101, etc.)
Lead/facilitate a group of 15-20 each week on a particular topic that will lead others to Biblical literacy/knowledge/practice. Lead out in regular communication and care for the members of your group.
Needs: 3
Time: 2 hours a week for 3-6 weeks plus prep time.
 
 Serve Projects Team Member
Help as needed with our serving projects in and around the community, specifically within our adopted schools as we encourage staff and teachers.
Needs: 15
Time: 1-2 hours/month

Worship & Production

Band
The role of a musician in the band is to use their instrument to partner with the entire worship team in leading the church in worship. Instruments that are played in the band include Drums, Bass, Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Keys/Piano, Violin, etc.

Vocalist
The role of a vocalist is to use their singing voice to partner with the entire worship team in leading the church in worship. You will usually be singing with up to five other vocalists on the platform, leading by example of what it looks like to worship Jesus through song.

Front of House Audio Engineer
The role of the FOH Audio engineer is to partner with the entire production team to create an environment where people can encounter Jesus. Their job involves managing the sound board that controls the speakers in the worship center.

Live Stream Audio Engineer
The role of the Live Stream Audio engineer is to partner with the entire production team to create an environment where people can encounter Jesus. Their job involves managing the sound board that controls audio that everyone hears on all the live stream platforms.

ProPresenter Operator
The role of the ProPresenter operator is to partner with the entire production team to create an environment where people can encounter Jesus. ProPresenter is the computer software that we use to run the presentation slides that we use for service. We use it for worship lyrics, announcement slides, sermon slides, videos, etc. The ProPresenter Operator runs this software on the iMac in the production booth.

Lighting Operator
The Lighting Operator’s role is to partner with the entire production team to create an environment where people can encounter Jesus. Their job is to run our lighting software and ensure the lights run smoothly for our weekend services and special events that they are scheduled for.
Video Director
The Video Director’s role is to partner with the entire production team to create an environment where people can encounter Jesus. Their job is to run the video switcher that controls the camera shots displayed on the screens in the worship center and our live stream. They also direct the camera operators on what shots to get on their cameras.

Camera Operator
The Camera Operator’s role is to partner with the entire production team to create an environment where people can encounter Jesus. Their job is to run the camera they are assigned to for the entire service, taking direction and guidance from the Video Director.

Stage Manager
The Stage Manager’s role is to partner with the entire production team to create an environment where people can encounter Jesus. Their job is to ensure all transitions on stage runs smoothly. Our stage managers notify our pastors when they need to head on stage to speak, bring out tables and other props on stage, notify the worship team when they need to get back on stage at the end of the message, check batteries of mic and wireless packs, etc.

Photographer
The role of the photographer is to capture images before, during and after service. Getting photos of people mingling in the lobby, people worshipping in the congregation, the pastors preaching, leaders serving, etc.

Videographer
The role of the photographer is to capture video footage before, during and after service. Getting video of people mingling in the lobby, people worshipping in the congregation, the pastors preaching, leaders serving, etc.
