Mission Saturday — September 12

Join us for Mission Saturday on September 12, beginning at 7:30 a.m. We’ll spend the morning serving individuals and families throughout our community through yardwork, cleanup, minor home repairs, and other practical projects. This is a great opportunity for our entire church to step outside the walls of the building and share the love of Jesus in a tangible way!

Please wear comfortable work clothes that you do not mind getting dirty, along with long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes or work boots. Depending on your team’s assignment, you may also want to bring work gloves, safety glasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, and a refillable water bottle. If you have basic yard or construction tools that you are comfortable using, feel free to bring them—but please make sure your name is clearly marked on anything you bring.

There will be opportunities for many different ages and skill levels, so you do not have to be an experienced handyman to participate. Some people will be mowing, trimming trees, cleaning yards, installing items, making repairs, or simply helping wherever an extra set of hands is needed.

Come ready to work, encourage others, and help demonstrate the love of Christ to our neighbors. Together, we can make a meaningful difference across the River Valley—one home and one family at a time.
