Connect Group FAQs

It is not. If the event is "family-friendly” and the activity is age-appropriate, kids are welcome! (I.e. Hiking – It’s probably best not to bring a toddler but older kids would love it!)

No, we do not. Transportation to and from any activities is your responsibility.

If you commit to an activity, we ask that you please do your best to attend. We understand life happens. If it does, please notify the APP in advance (if possible) or as soon as you can. We ask that you are considerate and respectful of your APP and group’s time.

Not necessarily. It depends on the activity. Some activities are free (i.e. hiking) while others such as concerts are not. Each person is responsible for any costs associated with their participation in the event.

Most of the activities are monthly or quarterly. There are few that may meet more frequently. Just be sure to check out the event details to see if it’s a one-time activity or a recurring day/time.

Yes! CONNECT Groups are open to CBC members/regular attenders/guests and anyone you know who may not have a church home – and may or may not know they need one. This is a wonderful opportunity for outreach.

YES! CONNECT Groups are year-round and are always open to anyone at any time.

Note: There may be a ‘waitlist’ of sorts for groups that are in the process of forming or that are full but still sign up!
